Northwest Airlines

Northwest Airlines Boeing Stratocruiser

Price: $125.00
S&H: $ 15.00
Total: $140.00

The fabulous Boeing 377 Stratocruiser - a derivative of the Boeing B-50 Bomber, was widely praised as a "passengers' airplane" because of its comfort and long range.  The lower deck passenger lounge was a first in the industry and didn't reappear until the 747 entered service in 1969. High operating costs forced the   airlines to eventually move away from the big Boeings, but in their day they were the epitome of style and comfort in air travel. This photo of a Northwest 377 in flight is framed with a FAM-28 Seattle - Tokyo First Flight cover from September, 1947 and an original period Northwest baggage sticker.
