Adolph Galland was probably the best known Luftwaffe pilot of all time.  A veteran of the Spanish Civil War and the Battle of Britain, he served as the Luftwaffe's General of Fighters, resigning late in the war to form JG44, the first jet fighter squadron, staffed by the elite of the Luftwaffe's fighter pilots.The General's autograph is framed with W.W.II photos and a reproduction Luftwaffe Pilot Wing patch.
